A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.
As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.
They talked about so many things and various subjects.
When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: "I
don't believe that God exists."
"Why do you say that?" asked the customer.
"Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't
exist.
Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people?
Would there be abandoned children?
If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain.
I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things."
The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond, because he didn't want to start an argument.
The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop. Just after he
left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty
hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt.
The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber: "You know what? Barbers do not exist."
"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber.
"I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!"
"No!" the customer exclaimed.
"Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with
dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside."
"Ah, but barbers DO exist!
What happens is, people do not come to me."
"Exactly!"- affirmed the customer. "That's the point!
God, too, DOES exist! What happens, is, people don't go to Him and do not look for Him.
That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

well today was our dress rehearsal - makeup, costumes, settings, orchestra, everything. didnt have to go to class at all today =D after roll call just headed for the hall and stayed there from 9am-6pm *phew* hard work i tell you...haha nah it was fun...but tiring< did makeup for the whole cast first...lol xD all the guys looked so feminine with eyeliner n foundation n all =P n us chix had full dark eyes/bags for the beggar effect...it was quite scary...we took some fotos which i will post up later....but yeah then ate n ran the whole show from about 12pm...lasted about 3 hours...buuut overall was pretty fun=] orchestra sounded pretty good^^ hmm i hope itll be alrite for thurs/fri n sat nite tho...apparentli we're still not ready =S yikes..>
anyways not much to write im pretty tired. have to miss bball again this week, but itll be the last one i miss...after musical its pretty much my 1st priority on fridays [apart from youth group-wen its on] heard we're doing pretty good xD love our new team=]
arghhhh 3 on 3....won against year 11 chix but lost against year 12...we soooooo could have won, and im not just saying that. seriously we missed soooooo many easy shots...like ESP ME. omgosh missed two shots from UNDER the ring...and thats where i alwaaaays practice my shots =( wahhh but oh wells..the score was 8-6 which is pretty good i guess...

gahhh i really should post more often...throughout the week i think of all this good stuff to write on my blog, then when i actually do blog i forget it all-___-;; but oh wells=] least im blogging^^ *hears vanna cheer* haha=P=P
hmmm lol man got back most results from half yearly this week...i guess i did mm...[i]okaaaay=/[i]...not good [apart from eng i guess]...and compared with other people im kinda bottom...butttt...oh wells. its james ruse. i wasnt even top in baulko... i was more like hovering just below average....ok from what i have gotten back so far:
English - 43/45 - 95.56% =D =D
Science - 25.5/40 =S =S 60 something %
Maths! < - 47/70 gahhhhhhhhh 67%>
Ag - 21.5/30 blehh round 71%
mmm im just hoping hist/geo will be better...i think i did all right on the essays coz for hist. i wrote a whole pre essay on women and that was the essay question so yeah....you noe wat? those libra pads are really informative..seriously!...during the exam i was thinking of something else to write on women and their changing roles in society throughout the 1900s, and i remembered reading that women were the inventors of the bulletproof vest. so i added that in by somehow blending in how women have now invented some of today's stuff. =] woohooo thanx libra=] yes anyways..
had church service today at school...me, kindy, jian, joy, deb [another one] and alex all led the singing =D so cool and the songs were really good as well=] mm then double science and double maths....then VA...lol man...studied postmodern art...and then VA teacher says he's gna put on a video and we all have to take notes on how postmodern art has been incorporated or whatever...so im thinkn bleehhhhh.....and guess what...he put o spongebob.loser.squarepants...hahahahahahahhahahhaahhah a.....i was like...man.. [vanna u noe what im talking about] ... i HATE spongebob.... ive never seen if before but i hate him i hate his pants i hate his face i hate his LAUGH....and the SONG..the THEME SONG...who lives at the bottom of the sea[or whatever]? everyone started singing along to it and im like... O________________x someone save me. BUT. you know wat? after watching that movie, im a changed man. its so funny! and cute! and smart...hahahaha i guess i never really gave it a chance....but lol seriously some of the ideas are really smart...we studied it and i was like wow lol...yes well that was my eventful day. oh yeah DARRRREN was supposed to come to ruse and visit ME but he dogged it. msged me but i couldnt reply coz i had no credit so i used frends fone...then he replied and said he WASNT coming... -___-;; oh wells=]
tomorrow ......THREE ON THREE BASKETBALL....we're on tomorrow!! woohooooooo xD vsn the year 11 chix on our opens team puaahahahahaha xD should be fun fun fun....man today watching everyone play made me pumped for tomoroow...cant wait! plus i have musical until 7. man a whole like...12 hours at school... O.o'' thats ruse for ya . GAHHH I HAVE TO MISS BBALL AGAIN. =[ not happy. but musical is fun=] i think we're running the whole thing tomorrow.. *o0o0oh* then dress rehearsal saturday 1-5pm...phew* next week PERFORMANCES ALREADY! ARGHHH plus i have to miss CIA /. for the people who are coming to watch, get ready ^^ i think this year's musical will be really good xD btw saturday tickets are sold out, i think i got the last ones...so enoch n kelly n olive will have to sit in the back row...hahahah

HALF YEARLIES ARE OVER !! :D
yaaaay xD but can't relax =.='' got all this work due arghhhhh
haven't blogged for ages again haha...but now since im blogging i might as well do an extra fat entry with lotsa pix ! well ill try to anyway, im still doing english =(
hmm i guess half yearlies were ok...i knew what i studied...kinda...it's like once you're actually doing them it's not so bad...its just the whole studying part and the buildup to it and stuff...omgosh ENGLISH exam...we did it...and apparently our grade had already done it LAST year for their YEARLIES -____-'' i didn't really care because it wasn't that hard but the teachers found out and said it was unfair for the new people or something lol...soooo we had to do it again -_-;; anyways so we did it again...and THIS TIME a class from our grade had already done it LAST YEAR in CLASS for SC practice...it was like ... ARGH. seriously ruse teachers are dumb. haha nah just kidding.. the rest of the yearlies were all right just waiting for the results now =S hate that part. and plus parents are gonna take phone off me if i don't do good =( i don't get why they blame it on my phone... ><
anyways last fri played my first bball game of the season...with new team...wow i love our new team=] we only lost by 7 points [as opposed to last season when we used to get thrashed by about 20 something points] and yeah i think with training our team will be brilliant xD then had youth group afterwards and talked about how the Bible isn't some historical book and how it actually has lotsa proof that it's real. afterwards darren played jay chou on the piano...lol random but yes...went back to hills...and saw andrew !! and man his team is good...i think bro lost but oh well...
yesterday work...bleh...musical practice...mmm wasn't good...hahaha we ran act 2 and had to do my mini solo...and argh it was scary ! i have never sang by myself in public...my voice was full on shaking HAHA i felt like such an idiot xP oh wells ill get it right...went to jason's house for dinner...lol they roasted a whollleeee pig.....like...an actual whole pig. they shoved a thing up it's butt and through its neck and it span round and round the roast thingy...and they chopped off the head and just left it on the table hahahaha....played bball with the guys...had the mini tournament again...i was with my bros xD we won a couple but i think jason's team won in the end hahaha....very fun xD then me n mel, being the luvos we are, took a billion pix with bren's digi cam...and mel taught bren various ways to pose for fotos haha :

wow havent blogged for ages. sorry guys =P lol im gonna try type all normal since brendan reads this =D and he has er..trouble reading our kind of typing hahahahaha
hmm hmmm yes well the after effects of camp are fading i guess...but i still have that kind of different attitude to everything...derek sent us all an email saying he arrived safe in the UK so it's all good =] miss him still but praying for him every night..
half yearlies are next week.. good luck everyone and study hard =] but not too hard heehee...hahaha heard baulko people have SEVEN half yearlies *points and laughs* ahaha we only have like 4 xD
hmm yeah not supposed to be using net all this week because of exams.. so i have to make this blog quick...
um um...had church today^^ sunday school was really good hehe talked about foundations and tried to make those card pyramids rofl ... heaps funny...then the discussion was really good...again made me think and learnt some new stuff^^ someone said once that they feel most at home with their brothers and sisters at church...and i totally agreee...i love church people =]
last friday had CIA social! xD organised by brendan [thanku!]...went to jason's house straight after musical which ended at 7pm that day...ate dinner there and played ball on jason's court with the guys while the chix watched cinderella story lol...ahhh bball so fun owned darren's team so bad...haha i think i have a thing for owning darren in stuff =P lol jokes...man im typing everything in the full its weird. haha anyways, after that watched alien...it was ok...pretty scary at times...though i must say that vanna's screams scared me a lot more than the actual movie...i think i got the full effect of it coz she was right next to me and clutching onto my arm the whole time heehee...yeah then left at 11ish...the rest stayed until like 1 something to finish the movie lol...
oh yeah people who want to come to the musical...i can only get tickets for a couple of people since i can't buy like 50 tickets for you guys or else it isn't fair for the rest of the people who want good seats...principal and chorus people get first priority in tickets and then it goes on sale to the public after...i'm buying tickets for jonno's family, jason+tammie, vanna+kat+clement+alice coz they asked first...thats it guys...sorry! you'll have to wait until it goes onto public sale and then i can get like a mass of tickets...remember its $12 for adults and $8 for concession and like $20 something for a family of four...
speaking of musical...i have a solo line!!! =D=D woohoooo xD me, kara, becca n niyati have like one line each in the year 10 turning song...oh yeahhhh =] hmmm i wanna try out for principal next year ^^
hmm first exams are science and english tomorrow...should be alright i guess....maths on thursday and history/geo and music on friday...wrote a pre essay for history today and planning to do maths everyday and maybe study geo at school at lunch or something....man true ruse style...hehe=P

its been a looong week...wow..first thought as i write this....church tomorrow...omgosh cannot say how much i have missed church people eva since church camp [last monday] its only been what, 5 days? since ive seen dem but it feels like AGES. last saw derek thursday [wow that was only 2 days ago O.o''] and already he's outta the country and heading for a new life....i miss him so much and i know vanna, darren, jono, mel n genis know how i feel...*siiigh* during this whole week ive seen him 4/7 days but i dno...it kinda seems surreal now...esp. church camp...man i cant wait until jason finishes the official church camp dvd and i get my hands on a copy...but its so strange because i wasnt the only one who felt so...emotionally different after church camp? like the above mentioned people..its like whoa it had such an effect on all of us...and not even just them, like EVERYONE. esp the youth ppl...in a way we've all strengthened individually and as a group...and we've gotten closer to each other...i think its a combination of derek's leaving and the effect of church camp that has left me so ... down i guess. first day back to skool was horrible in the beginning...not coz of anything/anyone but because of [b]me[/b]. just the way i felt...msged [b]vanna[/b] n she felt exactly the same...guess it improved thruout the day....rest of the week was alrite...saw derek afta skool thurs to give him our present from the chix...man that was sad...he gave each of us a letter...i read it at home...and started crying...it was just the whole of it all...
hmm...my view of alotta things have changed since then...i guess you could call it indifference but....in a good way? haha...just that nothing in the world seems as important as God atm. suddenly all these things ive been stressing about and putting in a lot of time thinking about diminishes...its not exactly a happy feeling but its more of a determined, set attitude ive taken on...ill explain more in detail later i guess...
sometimes in life you meet someone....i guess at first you dont really notice them...or see them in a certain way. but slowly and gradually they become a part of your life, they become a figure that you really admire and love. someone you look up to, i dunno someone you feel like knows everything and can answer anything..someone who isnt tied down by the world because they are so strong within themselves...other people might not notice things abbout this person but YOU do. someone who isnt ashamed to be themselves wherever or whenever. someone you can depend and trust on. a true soldier of Christ and you know it. someone who is a leader, one that you are truly blessed to have known. hehe that kinda sums up briefly what i think about derek. you havent even been gone more than 2 days and we al miss you like crazy. how are we going to survive? hehe... take care of yourself and come back soon please. . .

back from camp =[ ...u know that feeling when u have a really good time or go out or something and then u return and u get that feeling where you're all down? thats how i feel /.
camp was brilliant. seriously i had such a mad time there... forgot EVERYTHING haha and just spent four days with the church n God...learnt heaps of stuff which has made me think alot...felt so good to be surrounded by christians...argh got closer to everyone...some people a little bit some a lot...took lotsa fotos which will be uploaded onto my foto site soon...jason compiled a whole slideshow for the church n it was so good ='D didnt wanna leave...i dno guess i didnt want to come back to "reality" kinda...
took bout 3 hours to get there...got driven by derek n rob...lol funny stuff they were just talking about NBA n basketball the whole way...i was sitting in the back laughing at them and listening in and occasionally commenting haha...that nite dont think i slept much...shared a room with mel, genis n vanna n the four of us shared two beds and chucked all our other stuff on the other 2 beds...3/4 of us brought hair straighteners haha=P ate and talked...the usual....talked with vanna outside for a while just sitting and chatting in the night. ended up sleeping about 4 ish.
sat morning tammie woke us up round 8 o clock. had breakfast then the 1st talk...which was pretty good...then we had our first workshop...U18s with jason n marie haha...was very good...split into 3 groups n had discussions...talked about relationships omgosh me n vanna's group had such a hilarious discussion coz of the twins [caleb n josh] lol theyre so funni xD. after lunch had abseiling lol did the 10m and 25m one...LOL the 25 m was kinda scary...everyone either flipped completely upside down, stacked it, slipped, or got their leg stuck inside some overhang rock thingy. me? i got my leg stuck in it xD and half flipped but then managed to come back up quickly hehe...then went archerying...lol me n darren competed against each other and i owned him so bad...*points and laughs* later that nite had a CIA meeting [Christians In Action - youth group] to discuss our talent night item...ended up deciding to do an asianized version of hitch, since our speaker was talking about the 5 love languages. think we slept around 4 ish again...haha
sunday - service in the morning. workshop again...lol this one was really good. played a funny game n then discussions again. this time it was boy/girl relationships....heaps good discussion jason sed something which stuck in my mind and really made me think. oh wells...after lunch free time for 4 hours...practiced our hitch skit ROFL SO FUNNY. seriously EVERYONE was cracking up so hard during the practice....vanna, mel n i had to get picked up by the guys and man that scene was the best coz the brendan, caleb n jonno did such a funny job...practice finished...played a bit of soccer...watched the guys swim puahaha and den went fishing with sam n enoch n brendan LOL. never realised fishing could be so fun. caught a fish but it was a baby one so chucked it back in the river....after dinner talent night...lol so many good acts...but WE WON xD the whole nite was taped as well so dat was good xD lol then played handball hahaha...such a funny game....it was a combo of teens n uni people playing lol....played until 2am i think....den talked with people and ended up sleeping at 3ish =.=''
today aww mygosh was so sad...took lotsa fotos...packed up and watched our camp slideshow before we left...3 hour drive back home...i slept like a baby in the car =]
overall camp strengthened me..it really boosted my christian self esteem and i dno, i feel different...not dramatically different, just different. some things dont affect me as much as they did before...ahah i think its a good thing..cant wait for next years camp !
derek is leaving next friday for london...=( for two years...*sigh* so sad ! wow im gna miss him so much...talking about it to vanna at camp...n we were like...*eyes water* its gna be so different wen he comes back ...we'll be in year 12 then...and he'd be like...30? not sure ><'' omgosh i dont want him to leave! but will be seeing him tomoro for dinner hahah and on thurs wen me, vanna, genis n mel meet up at towers with him to give his farewell present from us=] hope he starts crying coz ive neva seen him cry. i know ill be crying haha...
BLARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH back to normal routine tomoro...then skool...*siiiiiiigh* skool is kool just miss camp alot...it was kinda like KYC was on the majorest low aftawards....

hmm feels like i havent blogged for ages... lol maybe its coz so much stuf has hapend in a couple of days and thats why it feels like ages. but neways..
fri nite was told something that shocked me. haha...i guess i could see it coming but i didnt want to believe it? or accept it or watever...but that led to me making a decision... mm ... dno if i did the right or wrong thing by doing so... then it ended in confusion for me...but that nite also strengthened my relationship with a good frend because i realised how much i loved her^^
sat woke up feeling...mixed. jumped outta bed and hesta picked me up...went back to hebron and omgosh looks so different =O ive been away for so long and its all changed now ... but yeah saw so many people i havent seen for ages. it was really good n met new hebron ppl n omgosh that day jsut took my mind off everything. haha well kinda.. me n hesta talked about it but den pushed it out of my mind...drove to the national park and spent the whole day there with crossroad n the Way pplz...had such a mad time with her....i felt so..happy=] and undisturbed from everything else thats been going on...laughed so much xD . decided to have dinner with her n her fam so went to carlo village...went home n talked to several people. sorted some stuff out...its still not fully clear but oh wells...if that person wants to noe then they can ask, otherwise i wont mention it for their sake...
hmm...do you ever realise that theres a really fine line between good frends and more than good frends? and thats where i get really confused sometimes because i dont know where my feelings are...i dno maybe i dont really have feelings for you, maybe im just confusing it with the fact that we're good friends. but then theres always the risk of losing/changing that frendship if i try and sort my feeling s out, and thats something i dont want. so does that mean our frendship and the way it is now is more important to me than wat i think i feel ? if so, it means im probably misinterpreting myself...well like i sed...ive got all these mixed emotions in me...rite now ill leave it like that, ill sort myself out somehow.

hmmm holidays arent so bad for me i guess...im starting to have more stuf on lol apart from studying ... like today! den went to nats [b]surprise[/b] party xD! haha omgosh [b]olive's[/b] house is so hard to find -__-;; but anyways got dere...n saw ppl i hadnt seen in ages! < played street ball on [b]olives[/b] ps2 hahahah so hilarious xD ate ate ate....talked for a while...den [b]NAT[/b] came! hahaha she wuz like O__________o;;!!!! =O=O=O ! hehe=P den party started...ate soo0o much -__-;; talked to pplz...kinda played ball with [b]cat[/b] n [b]nat[/b] FAR OUT i am gna start training seriously....[b]cat[/b] tried to teach me something i could. not. learn . it...so freaking frustrated ><'' but cat wuz realy patient haha=P thanx cat=] newaiz im gna play n play n train...coz i really wanna get beta at it...haha played table tennis with [b]daryl[/b] n [b]kelly[/b] n [b]enoch[/b]...lol so funi xD xD hmm wat else...yeah had a really good dnM with [b]aliz[/b]... havent had one in ages ! so kinda filled her in with everything dats been happening recently...hmm den wanted to play dance mat haha xD but someone screwd it so we ended up eating outside on his balcony thingy and just talking =] felt heaps good to see and talk to so many baulko pplz...made me realise how much i missed dem =[>
den had to leave round 4 ish and go straight to [b]monica's[/b] house...practiced practICED PRACTICED for dance...had to learn all this new stuf...but hopefully we'll be in time for the auditions < argh crap! newaiz ate dinner dere...pizza for the second time in the day>< lol we were talking bout random crap lol so funi...eg [b]danny[/b] n pizza hahahaha xD den danced some more...we got most of it...which is good...had to change the song from jumpn jumpn - destinys child...to er...passion by se7en...haha to make it more "multicultural"...>
den came home...and now i need a showa..and sleep...tomoro bball training n maths xD lol

hmm...today wuz meant to be "family day" haha sez my dad...we were gna out n eat n cT n everything for some quality family time lol...but we ended up..i dno...
first went to doctor...waited bout an hour-_-;; hmm wow my bro wuz rite my lymph glands are swollen...wuz told to relax blah blah take it easy...went home...den went out agen with whole family to crows nest...tried to find some italian restaurant that wuz supposedly really really good but it wuz closed -_-;; so went to anoda one...den went to carlo village lol man u see everyone at carlo...i swear i neva go dere without seeing someone i know...anyways wanted to cut my hair but the gay guy [well i [b]think[/b] hez gay] wuz all filled up with customers and i didnt wana wait...saw [b]PJ[/b] n [b]uncle chris[/b] n dey were discussing wedding plans =O=O very exciting ^^ its later this year n me n [b]vanna[/b] r going shopping for dresses xD woohoo cant wait! hmm well so much for family day haha...oh wells gues it wuz fun^^
came home and didnt do much...agen practiced church songs for tomoro and normal piano lesson songs...did some VA....went on net n chatted...etc..
everyone remember to turn ur clocks back one hour....so dat u get an extra hour of sleep xD haha last year our whole family forgot n we went church at wat we thought wuz "normal" time...haha we were like...wow we're first ones here! den we realised we were an hour early -_-;; ahaha
omggggosh .... we mite build a half court in our backyard xD how mad! like my dad wuz planning on clearing part of it den filling it with concrete and den put up a ring so its kinda like a below the ground half court for bballl......i really really really hope we do it...i can train without going to crestwood...even tho its like a 2 min drive hahaha....and pplz can come ova n play xD awww =]
i feel like i havent been to skool in ages...haha it feels all wrong...it duznt feel like a saturday...and its weird coz mondayz a holiday as well...=S ahh wells...i aint complaining =] o0oh might go easta showing monday...if not den bball training all day for semis this week...
HOLY CRAP SEMIS....okok i know we're not gna win coz theyre coming first n we're coming last...[well sppozed to be] but i guess training'll be good...its our first n last trainng for the season hahahaah...maybe dats why we always lose...hhaaha oh wells...next season is gna be good xD cant wait...its like half baulko half ruse + cesca ^^ how mad...but yeah come watch n support us this week...we're just gna have fun ^^ last game of the season n all...so commmme! court 2 6:15pm...be there=]
tomoro omgosh its gna be a long n nonstop day....ill fill ya in tomoro...im out the door tomoro morning round 9 and im gna come back 9-10pm something...hehe beta get some sleep^^ take cares ppl!

omgosh took me ageeeeez to decide on colors n den change my whole blog...hahaha but it wuz inspired by [b]ann marie's[/b] room coz i saw it wen i went to [b]nats[/b] house n i wuz like whoa ! hehe=P i love their house/family xD
last nite went ova to [b]nat's[/b] house for dinner...n met her relos lol...watched law n order while eating dinner...which ill prolli neva do agen...its not too good wen ur eating and suddenly a chopped off finger that belongs to some dead lil girl who died 12 years ago pops up on the screen...but ahh wells...the food wuz yummy so sall good=] had a very good time...talking=] bout certain stuf...heehee [b]nat[/b] is silly!
hmm..didnt end up going newhere today!! < had to stay home...n practice church songs...n im supposed to practice piano as well...bt i really cannot be bothered...my exam's in september? but i think im behind...coz im so lazy>< which is not good...but i dno...dont feel like playing...afta a whole year holiday its just..bleh...back to the routine of practice practice lesson practice practice etc....am gna be soo relieved wen exams ova...just hope i pass! coz in aMus u dont get graded...its eitha pass or fail...and dey only pass a certain number of students..n if i fail dat means ill have to try agen...aiya>< betta practice hard den ay? haha>

hmm ive kinda realised...atm im kinda in the middle of ruse n baulko...as in..im not extra extra close with neone at ruse atm...partly coz im still new n it hasnt been too long since i started...like i guess u could say its just not like how their frendships is with odas who have been dere since year 7?...and thats understandable coz deyve been thru lotsa stuff together etc...and dats true coz i think bout all the years at baulko n all the stuf we've been thru...and say lucy or christine [new chix] wont share dat kinda closeness with baulko ppl...well at least not now...thats wat im trying to say...and yeah so much stuff is happening at the moment at baulko too...haha yeah i AM updated n stuf bout it but its just not the same as being dere and experiencing it? so in a way im slowly drifting away from the baulkoness...and soon ill be all ruse-ness....but yeah the point im tryin to make is that im kinda in the middle atm....and it feels sorta weird...ahh well itll all work out with time...
